In November 2009 a pedestrian and bicycle bridge in Gdynia-Redłowo came into use. The ribbon was officially cut by, among other persons, mgr inż. Mirosław Wałęsa, the bridge designer. The bridge is almost 140 m long and 6 m wide.
It will considerably improve access to sports facilities, a hypermarket and companies. The bridge over the railway tracks and Droga Gdyńska Street is adapted for the disabled.
