Construction of the town of Pelplin ring road (Voivodeship Road No. 229)
Conceptual design (2002) and all-inclusive project (2004 - 2005) of a class GP 1/2 voivodeship road with a length of 4.6 km, class Z 1/2 roads with a total length of about 1.3 km and access roads together with engineering structures and complete infrastructure.
The Pelplin ring road constitutes an essential element of the road system connected with the construction of the A-1motorway, which will enable better communication not only within the town itself, but will also facilitate access from national road No. 1 to the motorway. This investment will also help to protect against destruction the historic Cathedral Basilica dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary's Assumption. Apart from the conceptual design and project of a GP 1/2 4.6-kilometre route the works also covered engineering structures: bridge over the Wierzyca river with a length of 80 m, flyover running above the railway track with a length of 72 m and a feasibility study, technical specifications and an environmental impact assessment report.
