Opening of footbridge in Gdynia-Redłowo

In November this year a pedestrian and bicycle bridge was put into operation in Gdynia-Redłowo. The ribbon was ceremonially cut by, among other persons, mgr inż. Mirosław Wałęga, the designer of the bridge. It is almost 140 m long, and 6 m wide. It will significantly facilitate access to sports facilities, a hypermarket and companies located there. The bridge spans the railway tracks and Droga Gdyńska (Gdynia Road) and it is designed also for the disabled.
